Get your logo associated with a respected brand – over 3 million times – at a price decided by you (minimum bid is R30 000 for one year based on 1c for 3 million).
We have six spaces for Partner Logos to go out with our mail, each being 200px X 100px. They will be allocated from highest to lowest offer received at the bottom of our emails for one year in the following priority sequence:
The Emails
This offer is based on the average number of outbound mails sent by the Chamber in the past 12 months, which amounts to approximately 3.5 million (so you get a further discount, because you are only paying for 3 million). It is anticipated to increase, but is not guaranteed.
In addition to the bulk mail, we will also append the six logos/mini-banners to the standard banner of Chamber’s unique outbound mail, numbering approximately 150 000. Although we send out substantially more, the bid is based on 3 million emails.
Where does the Bulk Mail go?
We have a growing base of 9 000+ unique recipients who are all opted-in recipients, in business and interested in receiving our correspondence.
What about POPIA?
Glad you asked. With the amount of bulk mail having to substantially decrease after the 1st July, that means our opt-in mail gets more attention. If you think email is passé – nope, not in our experience.
Where does the unique outbound mail go?
All over the place. Other than communicating with our stakeholders, it wouldn’t be unusual for your logo to go to a national Minister, the CEO of a conglomerate or a celebrity. The Premier gets it regularly.
How often is the mail opened?
Open rates of the bulk mail vary dramatically with the majority in the range of 2% to 20% with the median being 10%. Unique mails are close to 100%.
Benefits of being associated with the Chamber
It’s all about Social Capital.

Terms of the Offer
Where we have two competing brands in the same industry, the highest offer is accepted.
In the case of a tie, the Chamber will make the deciding vote in terms of quantitative factors like length of membership and/or previous sponsorships.
This promotional offer is valid for 12 months from 1 July 2021.
The minimum amount for the bid is one cent per sent email, amounting to R30 000.
We take no accountability for open rates and click-through rates – these vary dramatically based on content.
Should you wish to experiment with different versions of your logo/mini banner, we permit one change per month implemented on the 1st of the month dependant on having received the material at least 48 hours before.
